iMessage not working

Hi
About 2 weeks ago iMessage stopped working, and I do not know why. The triggers work manually, but there is nothing in the event log to say that any iMessage has been received like I used to have. I have updated to the latest version. Any ideas please.

Probably need a bit more info. Turn on all debug options and restart plugin - may give some info.

Otherwise:
- OS version , didn’t upgrade to Big Sur 2 weeks ago?
- are you logged in to messages app on the Mac? Can you send messages from within the messages app? Are they received?

Not yet updated to Big Sur, running 10.15.7. Indigo runs on a Mac mini and iMessages are being received and sent O.K.

But will need to let debug run for a bit after this ‘startup’ period. Should try to connect to database, potentially giving some info if it can’t
If you send and receive a message should be some debug info received?

O.K. checking the debug file gave me some pointers - thanks. It is now working, but I do not understand why. All I have done is take my mobile number off the iMessages account list in preferences for iMessage and left the email addresses I use, and, so far, it's working. Magic or witchcraft - take your pick.
