An error occured during activation

Hi!

After enabling the plugin, iMessage on the mac is logged out.
When trying to log in, i'm getting the error "An error occured during activation. Try again."

Creating a whole new Mac user and login with this user under iMessage is no problem.
Already tried a new "profile", complete new user. After starting the plugin, i'm getting this error.

Any idea please?

Regards

Re: An error occured during activation

Hmm, that’s a bit strange and hard to tie to plugin.

Questions
- did that iMessage account ever work on that Mac?

The plugin does backup chat database at first run, located here
~/Library/Messages/
I can’t see how, even if that process of file copy upset the database, you would see this error.
If that account is new, and history unimportant can delete the chat files in that directory and they will be recreated new and empty.
See here:

Otherwise might be a more general activation issue, which would make more sense to me. The plugin just reads the message database sql (read only) which is unrelated to any apple server/internet activation process. This may help:

Called Apple support. They activated the account in the background.
It's working now!

Great you fixed, glad it wasn't a plugin issue.
Cheers
