First of all, this is a great plugin!

It would be really useful to be able to act on a message from a specific buddy, rather than anyone in the list. Is this feasible?

Should be possible.

Do you mean - act on message from someone, and ignore same message from other buddie, or if run same trigger if msg received from set buddy? (think I have explained it)\!)

Yes! I suppose there are two possibilities:

1. Allow the buddy to be used as a condition in the trigger, so if you get a particular message from Buddy A, ignore it - but if it's from Buddy B, act on it.

2. Allow a trigger for ANY message received from a particular buddy, after which the message could be processed.

How would you use this? - as the allowed buddy List are buddy's allowed to communicate with Indigo.

Basically what you are suggesting is another layer of buddies - some allowed to do run some things, some others?
(would this get any use importantly.??)

Could have a look a adding optional trigger for particularly buddy - trigger only if this selected buddy/trigger on all as default.
