Python syntax to set mode, comfort setting

Is there a python command to invoke a comfort setting saved on a thermostat?

Why not use the pre-defined Action?

By the way, the actions available in an Ecobee trigger include 'Programs"? What are these?

No idea, it's in the API specs so I implemented it. Check the Ecobee docs.
