Setting remote sensor

Is it possible - or necessary - to set the temperature on the remote sensor?
When I set the temperature on the thermostat with an action group, and then look at the Ecobee iOS device, it shows two settings - one for the thermostat, and a second, different value. E.g., if I set the thermostat to 15C, the display shows "15 - 18.5 and holding". The temperature at the thermostat is 21.5C, and 22C at at the remote. It's not clear where the 18.5C is coming from.
Can I assume that Ecobee looks at both values and does some sort of averaging? If so, when I create an action group, the remote does not show up as a device I can manage, but the remote is listed as a device.

Re: Setting remote sensor

The remote sensors are just that. Sensors. You can't set the sensor value.

I don't know how Ecobee does their calculations. The plugin just gets the data from the API.
