The Dark Sky API is officially dead as of 2023-03-31 and support for the Fantastic Weather plugin has also ended.
The license for Fantastic Weather is MIT and if any users want to fork the plugin and continue its life with another API they are welcome to do that.
I recommend one of the other fine weather plugins or the Ghost XML plugin going forward.
