Error - Unable to decode data

Hi Dave,

Been getting the following error for the last few days, any suggestions? No intentional changes on my behalf that I'm aware of.
Code: Select all
Fantastic Weather Error         Unable to decode data. (Line 843) No JSON object could be decoded

TIA

Nothing like solving your own problems :?
Having restarted Indigo (for another reason) earlier the error was still there however reloading the plugin seems to have resolved for now. I'll monitor and report back later...

Update: Problem resurfaced shortly after my post. I then realised I wasn't on the latest version so upgraded and now have the following in log. Hope this helps narrow the issue down.

Re: Error - Unable to decode data

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You probably want to edit your post above to take your API key out of the log data.

Let me do some leg work and I'll get back to you.

I tried one of your URLs in Safari, and got a daily usage limit exceeded response. You'll have to wait until midnight UTC for the API call counter to reset, but in the interim, I'd suggest revising downward the call limit in the plugin configuration menu to something like 500 calls to ensure that you have some left over for testing.

We'll get you going.

Re: Error - Unable to decode data

Thanks Dave,
Edited the post to remove key
I'll change the limit as suggested.

Re: Error - Unable to decode data

Hi Colly - I tried your API key this morning (in Safari) and the data popped right up. Are you still getting the error message?

Re: Error - Unable to decode data

Thanks for letting me know. If you see anything like this again, please check the plugin log to see if that can provide any more insight into what the source of the problem might be.
