Beachball on Clock Display 1.0.3 install

Just tried to install the clock display plugin and got

I have read the Wiki from start to finish but that did not give any clues

removed plugin, downloaded again from Github
Stopped Indigo and restarted.
New device type > Clock Display
Model > Clock Display
click on Settings > Name and beachball for 30 seconds
manage to enter Clock and click on Edit Device Settings,
goes blue but beachball for another 30 seconds then Device Settings changes back to normal but no setup screen.

The plugin is so simple, I can't even see how it can be failing.

That behavior looks similar to what I've seen when a device configuration dialog is open when the plugin is stopped/started.

Have you restarted the Indigo Client app?

I have just stopped Indigo, rebooted Mac, deleted 1.0.3 and installed 1.0.0 and after a short beachball moment I now have a Clock. Upgraded to 1.0.3 and still works without error so it would seem something in 1.0.0 has been removed from 1.0.3 but all I get from Clock Display settings is a Use Seconds tick box, is that right as SQL has setup
