It’s 5 years since I touched this plugin but from memory the custom state settings (see screenshot earlier in this thread) allow any format you like for sunrise/sunset?

Happy to look if there’s anything’s specific missing.

I think the problem is that the custom settings use the strftime() format strings, which do upper/lower case by the locale standard. Which is upper for the US. Which the requester doesn't want. So he wants a way to override that in the plugin so he's not trying to munge the string later.

Thank you for the description of why I am asking for the new feature. I do not have the technical detail in my toolbox at the present time.

I've just pushed v3.0.17 to the plugin store.

This adds two more states SunriseL and SunsetL which are lower-case versions of these states, the same as the Custom3L etc shown above.
