What cool uses are people using this plugin for? Any cool co

Hey all
My model 3 arrives on Tuesday so naturally keen to try this out!

A bit like the day in the life of thread, I’m keen to learn from others how they’re using the Tesla plugin and how they’ve tied it into any other HA magic :)

Especially interested if anyone’s created a cool tesla focused control page

Cheers in advance
Noel

Reminder to plug in if home and not plugged in - used to happen a lot after carrying food shopping in.

Enter time of leaving (via a huge amount of variables) and car AC or heated seat is on. Ability to enter trip distance (medium and long - car always ready for short trips) to change level of charge on car.

I want to integrate diary with above relating to distance and charge level - but not fail safe as not all diary entries have a location - especially if not inputted by me. This needs some thought but is possible with a text reminder if no location set - now you have me thinking.

Turns on outside lights for 10 minutes on proximity to home (not checked due to lockdown).

I only charge when battery is below 20%, so I have the house remind me to charge at both 9.30 and 10pm if not plugged in.

Hey all
Thanks for the replies
Has anyone put charging logic into indigo?

For instance I want it to primarily charge between 2020 and 0030 for my cheapest electric.

Sometimes I’ll want it to charge up to 90% if I’m doing a trip but tbh if it’s just normal day to day and it’s around 40%+ before charging then 4 hours cheap electric is plenty.

Anyone got similar rules they’ve come up with in or out of indigo?

Thanks
