Issues with Tesla API?

Getting constant checks on the log from the plugin. When I try to open the vehicle device, it just spins and nothing happens.

Deleted everything and reinstalled the plugin. However, when I try to create a new device, the same happens: it cursor spins and nothing happens

Is it something on my side or the API is having issues?

Thanks,

JP

Re: Issues with Tesla API?

Hi JP

Give https://github.com/howartp84/TeslaContr ... tag/1.0.18 a try

It looks like Tesla have slowed down their API, or added so much data to it that it takes longer to process, which is causing a timeout in Indigo.

I've reworked how that takes place so it doesn't cause timeout when saving the device.

Also added a few bits which i'll publish once you've checked nothing is broken with this release.

Thanks JP.

I'll push it to the plugin store now.

Just noticed that I am getting the following error with the latest update:

Tesla EV Control Error plugin does not have a <CallbackMethod> specified for action id doRefresh

Ah...

Edit and re-save any actions that use the "Refresh all states" action.

Tesla have provided a one-command-gets-all-data function so I changed the plugin to use it, but it does mean you need to edit your actions.

If it still does it, change the action to eg only get climate states, save it, then change it back to refresh all.
