Updating values - how frequently?

I have some questions regarding the functions of this plugin.

When are the values updated? Since I only want to wake the car up when I really need the values, an automatic update every minute or so would be inefficient.

Is the version still working after the API changes or are we just missing some new features of the new API?

Does the plugin send a wake up command to the car?

From memory, the plugin only requests data when you either request it yourself (plugin action) or you send a command (which then requests result).

It works with the API at the point I last updated it, but any new data fields that Tesla send are automatically added to the data you see - you just can't send new commands that I've not implemented.
