Trigger values

Hi
Thanx for a realy nice update on the Tesla Plugin

Before i used the Tesla Plugin to activate things in the car and i used an Tesla Script to collect status in Variables

I am now trying to convert all to your plugin

But for example, i have one trigger, that triggers if variable inside_temp is higher than 18 degreas

When trying to use the device state inside_temp i cant trigger on "Higher then"

See attached images

Is there any fix for this?

/Thanx Martin

Re: Trigger values

Ah, that’s because I create all data states as strings for simplicity. :(

I’ll a) re-look at this, and b) add triggers anyway.

Re: Trigger values

Have a look at 1.0.8 Beta on https://github.com/howartp84/TeslaControlBETA/releases

You will need to recreate your device - I suggest you create a new device and just pick the same car, then when you're ready you can switch your actions/control panels etc over to use the new device.

Only the new device will allow the numerical comparisons.

Re: Trigger values

Hi Thank you, just tried the Beta 1.08 and i can see many of the values is possible to chose greater then, but not "inside temp" thats the one a am using.

I had to reset my Tesla Password, it had been "blocked" but if you need it again, let me know

Thanx Martin

Re: Trigger values

I'll have a look; I currently evaluate if the initial value is numeric or not, then make it a string or numeric state accordingly.

Re: Trigger values

PM me your username/password - I'm not currently seeing an inside_temp state to look at.
