Re: New version of the RFXTRX Plugin available

Hi Fishysan,

It looks like the settings of the RFXCOM aren't saved correctly.
Can you go to the setup of the module, (Plugins/RFXCOM/Configure) and turn on or off one of the protocols?
Save the settings and try again?
If you still don't succeed then please send me a screen dump of your RFXCOM settings, so I can try to reproduce the error.

Bye, Robert.

Re: New version of the RFXTRX Plugin available

Thanks Robert,

I had tried a few things, and tried a few more based on your suggestions.

I removed all the protocols, left it a day, no errors. I also turned off "Show undecoded packets in log" which I didn't know was bad. Was an old setting.

As soon as I turned back on Oregon Scientific the errors started up.

For the configuration UI - I have nothing selected except Oregon Scientific. No other options.

Now I just turned on debugging to see if I can determine more - maybe a specific sensor is causing it.

Thanks!!

Re: New version of the RFXTRX Plugin available

Hi Fishysan,

I think your problem is that the firmware in your RFXTRX is to old.
I know settings changed at some release of the firmware and I had to make changes as well.
Your version is 190, mine is 226 and I think the most actual version is 245.
You can find the firmware and instructions here:http://www.rfxcom.com/epages/78165469.sf/nl_NL/?ObjectPath=/Shops/78165469/Categories/Downloads
Probably one disadvantage, you need a Windows machine to update the firmware.
Good luck,

Robert.

Re: New version of the RFXTRX Plugin available

Interesting Robert. Thanks. I just updated it to 190 prior to upgrading indigo and the plugin and thought it was the latest. I'll look again for newer.. Well 190 was the newest a few weeks ago and now it is 191.

Your v 245 is for a different product. The EXT thing.

The previous plugin version I was using had no errors. Might roll back and see.

Thanks.

Anyone using a Somfy Roll Up 28 RTS motor in a roller blind controlled by this plugin?

I am looking to install a roller blind for my kitchen window :)

Follow up question - I am thinking of getting the battery version - is yours mains or battery?
Any views on which is best?

Re: New version of the RFXTRX Plugin available

is it just me or has the plugin hosting site down? just tried to download latest version and got no reply. The version hosted by Indigodomo is a little behind.
