The TFA kit includes two sensors – a temperature/humidity sensor (30.3208.02) and a rain gauge (30.3233.01). When I look in the RFX manual (http://www.rfxcom.com/WebRoot/StoreNL2/ ... _Guide.pdf), both are listed, and appear to use the Hideki protocol.
It seems that – on paper – this should work. Can anyone help confirm?
My aim is to get real-time reports when it starts raining, so I can then set actions/triggers in Indigo.
EDIT: I should add – I have a RFXtrx433E transceiver. It is detected as follows in Indigo:
- Code: Select all
Started plugin "RFXCOM 2.1.16"
RFXCOM initializing communication on port /dev/cu.usbserial-A12HRLXR at speed 38400
RFXCOM connected to RFXtrx 433.92 MHz, firmware version 24
RFXCOM currently enabled receiver protocols: RFU, Byron, RSL, Lightning4, Viking, Rubicson, AE Blyss, Blinds T1234, Blinds T0, La Crosse, Hideki, LightwaveRF, Mertik, ATI, Oregon Scientific, HomeEasy EU, AC, ARC, X10
RFXCOM enabling receiver protocols: Undecoded
RFXCOM stored changed settings into non-volatile memory
I am unclear if it is running the Pro1 or Pro2 firmware.
EDIT2: Correct part number of the temperature sensor.
