Updated to 2.1.3 now throwing errors

Hi, thanks much for continued work on this plugin!

I just upgraded from 2.1.2 which was working fine, to the new version which now leverages the "indigo.sensor" type and wanted the degree symbol so I don't have to manipulate temp strings. I thought it would add F or C - but it just adds degree. F/C would be awesome!

Unfortunately when I fired it up, I get two identical errors every time an Oregon Scientific sensor broadcasts.

What I'm not 100% sure of, is whether this is RFXCOM plugin or something Indigo related. I tried editing/refreshing sensors. Doesn't seem to help.

I rebuilt one of my many sensors, and it doesn't seem to complain anymore. It actually complained with a burst of 4, but once I finished creating it, it seems OK now.

Any idea? Hopefully the expectation is not to have to recreate all RFXCOM temp devices as that hoses all the triggers/actions etc. Does my RFXtrx need an update? I was going to soon, but now wonder. Thanks!

Here are some log snippets, hopefully this helps;
Code: Select all
   RFXCOM                          initializing communication on port /dev/cu.usbserial-03VHDCBN at speed 38400
   RFXCOM                          connected to RFXtrx 433.92 MHz, firmware version 190
   RFXCOM                          currently enabled receiver protocols: Oregon Scientific

Re: Updated to 2.1.3 now throwing errors

I was getting the same error.

To fix, set the device to X10. Save it. Go back in and specify the type as RFXCOM again, with the applicable device model. Re-save. That did it for me.

Just make sure you make a note of the address. It retained it for me, but just in case.

Hope this helps.

Awesome, thanks! That did the trick. And a nice one for "resetting" an item without loosing the ID that's used everywhere.
It's likely an Indigo bug then, because it did it for the X10 ones, and I've seen it before. Oh well. Cheers!
