Re: Step by Step Instructions for Integrating RollerTrol bli

The problem is clear to me. I implemented a 'type 24' remote control but you have a 'type 25'
I implemented it as well and you can download a new version of the plug here:http://www.rjdekok.nl/downloads/rfxcom.indigoplugin.zip

if your log presents this:
RFXCOM Debug processing: 9 25 0 4 0 141 18 7 1 96 (09 19 00 04 00 8D 12 07 01 60)
RFXCOM Debug Blinds Remote with id1-3 14118 and unitcode 7 command 1 received
RFXCOM Error unknown device detected (id = 1411807, type = 25). Select a Blinds Remote from the list of devices

Then you have to add a device 'Blinds Remote' with address 1411807 (the id of the device)

After you added the device you should get this in the log:
RFXCOM Debug processing: 9 25 0 4 0 141 18 7 1 96 (09 19 00 04 00 8D 12 07 01 60)
RFXCOM Debug Blinds Remote with id1-3 14118 and unitcode 7 command 1 received
RFXCOM Debug Switch Command 1411807 in list, command=Close

Thank you Robert. This works and has allowed me to monitor my rollertrol remote control button presses and RFXTRX commands to clearly convey the state of my blinds. Thank you for looking into this!

Re: Step by Step Instructions for Integrating RollerTrol bli

Dear Robert,

Firstly let me thank you for this great plugin, I use it all the time to control my blind and curtain motors.

Previously in this thread, you posted a modified version of your plugin to help Dewster35. This version (v1.7.9) was modified to allow type 25 remote control to be recognised (available here http://www.rjdekok.nl/downloads/rfxcom.indigoplugin.zip).

I also would like to monitor my type 25 remote but it seems that I'm encountering the same problem as Dewster35 when using the last RFXCOM plugin version (2.1.16):

RFXCOM Debug processing: 9 25 6 1 79 67 218 209 2 127 (09 19 06 01 4F 43 DA D1 02 7F)
RFXCOM Debug Blinds Remote with id1-3 796918 and unitcode 209 command 2 received
RFXCOM Error unknown device detected (id = 79692009, type = 25). Select a Blinds Remote from the list of devices

If I use the old RFXCOM plugin version (v1.7.9) from your link in this thread, everything is working well: my type 25 remote control reports its status correctly:

RFXCOM Debug processing: 9 25 6 0 79 67 218 209 2 127 (09 19 06 00 4F 43 DA D1 02 7F)
RFXCOM Debug Blinds Remote with id1-3 796918 and unitcode 209 command 2 received
RFXCOM Debug Switch Command 79692009 in list, command=Stop

I've tried to check if there was something missing in the last plugin version Python code but unfortunately I'm not a Python guru and I didn't found anything.

Do you have any idea about what may be causing this problem?

Axel.
