Grafana Dies: how to install outside of plugin
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2023 9:37 amI have an issue where it seems like the Grafana web interface dies. Once the UI is back, no data seems to be lost.
Since my Mac Mini is headless, I usually just issue a reboot command from my phone and that brings it back. I suspect restarting Grafana from the plugin options would also bring it back.
My thought would be that a newer version of Grafana might fix the issue.
I am using 2.0.1 plugin on a 2018 Mac Mini and Indigo 2022.1.2
I saw another post from last year where you were going to provide instructions here about running Grafana outside of the plugin and wondered if you were able to do that? What would also be great is instructions on how to bring over the dashboards from the plugin version of Grafana.
I am open to Docker, HomeBrew, or even updating the binary within the plugin.
