Indigo Domotics

I just purchased and installed the August Lock Gen 4 with built-in WiFi. How do I get this to work with the August Home plugin? It has WiFi built in, so doesn’t need a bridge to connect to the August cloud. I just assumed the plugin would work, but so far no success.

You'll be the first one testing this model to my knowledge.

When you follow the setup instructions and authorize your account, then try to create a new device (August Smart Lock), does the Lock device show up in the dialog? If not initially, but you are sure that the plugin is authorized to your account (in the plugin dialog), restart the plugin and try to create the device again.

If you are still stuck, turn on debuging, restart the plugin, and send me the logs and I'll take a look.

Great. Make sure you are running the beta. I need to publish it as non beta as its stable.

Hi!

So I just added my 2nd August Lock (Gen4) and am not able to get it working with Indigo. I am running the plugin beta 1.0.19; have tried the 'reload' process. I have created a debug log file and screen shots of the behavior I am seeing from the "Front Door" lock. Should I post the debug info directly here on the web or send it to you via private email?

Note: the "Garage Entry Lock" is working properly and I have included a screen shot of that for reference in the debug log file.

Please advise as to the best way to resolve this issue.

Sure send to me via PM on the forums. I’m on vacation this week but will take a look when I return. Good chance I need to test a configuration with two locks better.

Just got it downloaded and installed. Works perfectly as far as I can tell!!! Now able to control both locks.
