Multitool Plugin Updates

The initial release of the Multitool Plugin contained a couple of older files due to a failed merge. Version 1.0.14 should correct that error and the plugin should now contain updated files.

Any users that downloaded the initial release should upgrade to this version.

Please let me know if you see anything that doesn't work as expected.

Re: Multitool Plugin Updates

I have added a pre-release of the Multitool Plugin which now includes Modify Numeric Variable and Modify Time Variable Action items. I have also updated the plugin documentation with descriptions of how to use the tools. I'm tossing this out as a pre-release in case I've missed the mark.

1.0.26
  • Adds the Modify Numeric Variable and Modify Time Variable Action items.

1.0.25
  • Removes all references to legacy version checking.

1.0.24
  • Ensures plugin is compatible with the Indigo server version.
  • Standardizes SupportURL behavior across all functions.

You can download the pre-release here.
You can see the documentation here. (The new stuff is on the Actions page.)

Re: Multitool Plugin Updates

Multitool Plugin v2022.0.1 is now available.

Note that this release has been removed from GitHub. Please see below for further information.

Updates plugin for Indigo 2022.1 and Python 3. Note that this version of the plugin requires at least version 2022.1 of Indigo. It will not work on older versions. Also, the plugin documentation referenced below may not yet be updated to reflect all the changes in this release (the docs will be updated soon.)

  • Hides hidden methods for "Methods - Indigo Base..." and "Methods - Plugin Base..." tools by default.
  • Adds enabled state to device inventory output.
  • Standardizes Indigo method implementation.

You can download it here.
Instructions for using the plugin can be found at the Wiki.

Re: Multitool Plugin Updates

Multitool Plugin v2022.1.2 is now available.

  • Fixes bug where plugin ID was inadvertently changed from `com.fogbert.indigoplugin.multitool` to `com.fogbert.indigoplugin.Multitool`
  • Includes changes from v2022.0.1 and v2022.1.1. (those two releases have been removed from GitHub.

A note about this release-- during a prior update, the plugin ID was inadvertently changed. This caused a few minor issues with respect to integrating the plugin into the Indigo Plugin Store. This release should fix this issue. Users may need to delete an existing plugin installation before installing this update.

All users on Indigo 2022.1 should apply this update. Reactivating the "Show in Plugin Store..." menu item may require a server restart. Sorry for the confusion.

You can download it here.
Instructions for using the plugin can be found at the Wiki.

Re: Multitool Plugin Updates

Multitool Plugin v2022.1.3 is now available.

NOTE: This version contains a bug. Users should download version 2022.1.4 instead.

NOTE: this is a pre-release with a fairly large number of changes (most of which are under the hood). Since it's a pre-release, it's not available in the Indigo Plugin Store and is only available from the GitHub link below. Please report issues with this version in this forum or via GitHub.

  • "Modify Numeric Variable" and "Modify Time Variable" now support Indigo substitutions.
  • Change "Subscribe to Changes" object selector from textfield to list to make it easier to select objects to subscribe to.
  • Moves plugin environment logging to plugin menu (log on request instead of every plugin restart).
  • Refactors code.
  • Improves settings validation for "Speak String" tool.

You can download it here.
Instructions for using the plugin can be found at the Wiki.
