Neither of us are the FindFriends account, which is separate.

Not really breaking anything I'm doing currently, I'm just curious.

Excellent Question. Its an 'undocumented feature'!

If your FindmyFriends account has a Label saved for the current location - the Plugin will display/use this in the main display (otherwise uses the long address)

I would presume you have saved your Home address as 'Home' within your FindmyFriends iphone app whereas you wife hasn't?
(Likewise you can label within your findmyfriends phone app any location - and the plugin will display this )
