Ie when I do not run the engine for 2 weeks will it drain the battery ... will the car still start?
I drive my car about once every couple of weeks (sometimes 3+ weeks) - I've not noticed any symptoms of battery drain. My guess is that it doesn't try to talk to the 3G network except when there are explicit events (start, stop, etc). Probably doesn't use much of any power when the car is off - it just needs enough to see when the signal comes that the car started.

Asking as I had a problem with an insurance plugin - less $ for save driving and we have a car that is rarely used.
That was draining the battery

I haven’t seen any problems either, and one of my vehicles is rarely driven.
