iTach Flex

Not likely. Your HEX input is converted into plugin-internal format when you enter it, and that is converted into GC output format when you send it. There's really nothing magical about HEX coding here.

Your log output does not show actual data being sent to the emitter. Are you sure you have ir.gcache.gcnet enabled in the Debug modules setting?

Anyway, I've broken down and got a Flex emitter cable and found a few extra issues (probably not yours), where the Flex doesn't behave the way its documentation says. I've put out version 1.6.5 which I now know works for Flex IR emitters at least in my house.

I've seen some reports of iTach Flex being flakey about IR emitting until you go into its web interface, reconfigure it as something else, and configure it back to IR emitter. I can't vouch for that, but you may want to try it.

Hi Perry,

I noticed after I reload the plugin (1.6.5), the iTach Flex unit initially sends a string that resembles, but is not identical to my IR code -- specifically, the ir code that I'm expecting it to send is "sendir,1:1,1,40302,1,1,97,23,...,49,4030",
but instead, it looks like it's trying to send "sendir,1:1,2,40000,2,433,97,23,...,49,453" , which looks like the intended code except for the beginning and ending sections.
. When I try to execute the action group again though, the debug window as you can see just returns the hex codes.

Hello All,
I currently have a WF2IR that works very well but am thinking about upgrading to a Flex WiFi to support 802.11g. Does the Flex work as well and as fast as the WF2IR? I have read some reviews on Amazon that state latency between command execution and action follow though. Granted these are most likely not Indigo users and there could be user error involved with configuration etc. So I wanted to hear from any Indigo users.
