Cynical Garage Door and HomeKitLink Siri: Door state reverse

It has recently occurred that out Cynical Garage Door* has begun to display in HomeKitLink Siri (HKLS) in reversed state. I only noticed it yesterday but my wife said it's been untrustworthy "for a while."
Before going to HKLS, I just wanted to find out if there's any way to reverse state reporting inside Cynical Garage Door. I need HomeKit to report accurately for the family; I can cope with Indigo reporting backwards internally.

*My Cynical Garage Door uses Z-wave devices:
Zooz Zen16 (Relay 1, set to momentary)
Ecolink tilt-sensors (upper and lower)
