Cynical Networks - TCP In - Timeout

Hi,
I have been experimenting with the TCP in plugin to get some data from a WiFI connected ESP32 based weather station (home made) It works well however it's on the edge of the ESP32's range and occasionally the wifi drops mid packet toward Indigo or worse at 5am after a cloudy day the Lipo goes flat just after the radio fires up. If the TCP session does not close with sanity I have found that the plugin will freeze on connected and the not process any further packets when the next connection comes in.

Is there any way to set a timeout in the Cynical Network plugin. At the moment I have a cron job running that kills off the plugin if it sticks in connected mode. But that's sub-ideal.
