anyone knows how to create IR datavbase for the plugin?

I can download the full "code set" from Global Cache IR database control tower site (https://irdb.globalcache.com/Home/Database) which is an ASCII file. Question is it possible to convert that into the plugin database and how?

Only just seen this question.

You can't convert it en-masse.

What you can do is copy the second half of the codes you've received and paste it into an IR send command.

Say you've received:
Code: Select all
"POWER ON","sendir,1:1,1,38000,1,69,343,172,21,21,21,21,21,64,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,64,21,64,21,21,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,21,21,21,21,64,21,21,21,21,21,21,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,21,21,64,21,64,21,64,21,21,21,21,21,1673,343,86,21,3732 ","0000 006d 0022 0002 0157 00ac 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0e94",,

You would copy out the second half and prefix it with "<generic:" and suffix it with ">" as follows:

Code: Select all
<generic:0000 006d 0022 0002 0157 00ac 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0e94>

That's the "Power On" command for my new LG TV.

Some codes will automatically change when you save them, to something like <NEC:fb04/c4> which is one of the standard code sets - my new LG TV does this for most codes.
