Hardware needed for Cynical Honey

Hi!

It sounds like the Cynical Honey plugin does just what I need for my ADT security system. I have Pulse hub added to the system which has run the 4 serial wires to within feet of my Mac. Can you give any insight into how the serial connection gets converted into a USB connection for the Mac. What drivers are needed? What adapters? Which wires should be patched to which, etc..

I’ve really been waiting to do this for years and now it seems soooooo close.

Any help you can give would be really, really appreciated.

I'm not sure about how to take the raw wires coming from it, but for the USB to serial adapters I like the Keyspans. They are good about keeping the driver updated for new Mac OS releases.
