I don't think the plugin can currently handle ATOM feeds. ATOM may look a lot like XML (it is) but the structures are different.
If you can post a code version of the feed (instead of an image) I may be able to play around with it later on. No guarantees on how long that might take as I'm currently rebuilding my Indigo machine.

Have to tried dd.weather.gc.ca
Files there are XML and for the most part I have had no problems with it and ghostxml
