conversion to python 3

Mike - any chance you might be able to update this plugin for python 3. Nick's Honeywell plugin cannot be updated because of some NDA that is signed. Its the only plugin preventing me from being able to upgrade to the next
Indigo version coming.

Thanks in advacne.

I second that emotion. Perhaps I can help? I've written a line or two of Python code in my time.

The developer hasn't been active for quite a while. The plugin does not have complete source code, and there is no license included that will allow someone else to pick it up.

You might need to look at an out-of-the-box solution, like using Home Assistant with the Agent plugin.

So now I'm getting a repeated error and the plug-in is not working for me at all. Can you describe how one might set up Home Assistant with the Agent plugin for accomplishing this? I have not used it.

First thing is you need to set up Home Assistant. See https://www.home-assistant.io. Then get the integration for your Heat Pump working (in Home Assistant). Then you can set up the Indigo plugin. When you get to that step, and need help, post in the Home Assistant Agent Forum (viewforum.php?f=396).
