Error in plugin

Hi there-- So I got the gateway, set up one of my thermostats, and installed the plugin. It loaded and found my thermostat, but threw off this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 234, in runConcurrentThread
AttributeError: 'Plugin' object has no attribute 'updateFrequency'

Mr.Slim Thermostat Error plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed (will attempt again in 10 seconds)

Mr.Slim Thermostat [Sat Dec 22 18:07:21 2018] Processed plugin preferences.

Mr.Slim Thermostat GREAT ROOM (id: 4534260)
Mr.Slim Thermostat Error Error in plugin execution runConcurrentThread:

Traceback (most recent call last):

AttributeError: 'Plugin' object has no attribute 'updateFrequency'

I set it to zero but the error continues.

Thanks for taking a look at this.

Re: Error in plugin

Please upgrade to 1.8 to see if it fixes it.

Re: Error in plugin

Bingo-- that problem solved and log is now peaceful again! Thanks.

So this is what happens when you give someone an inch: As you know, the redlink interface not only allows mode and temperature to be set, it also allows fan speed. Any interest in adding this to the plug in?

Never hurts to ask...

Re: Error in plugin

I see they have a new API which is different than the one I normally use. I will see what it offers and determine how easy it will be to add new functionality.

Thanks. Not meaning to be greedy.... but you know how insatiable users can be! The good news is you are a user too.

Re: Error in plugin

I have updated to 1.9. This has support for FAN control for other TCC thermostats which offer this support.

If you have an existing device that support fan control (not a Mr Slim) you may have to delete and re-add the device to get the fan support to show.
