Basic question about creating a Enphase Envoy device.

I have a new Enphase system and am trying to use this plugin. When I create an Enphase Envoy-S device it only asks for the IP address. It doesn't ask for the serial number. I attached a screenshot and error in log.

It creates the device but it is offline.

Hi

We no longer need the serial no as can usually be pulled from data received.

For some reason - that IP address is not returning the usual Envoy-S data:
Error 301

Either IP address is wrong
Or your device is not a Envoy-S
Or there has been some major change I am yet to see.

Oh well.
Thanks Glenn

Pretty sure thats the same thing - they have just renamed it.

Go to your IP address of the device in a Browser and paste what you see…
& then try

http://Ipaddressofdevice/info.xml

Edit:

Firmware 7+ appears to be an issue. With most integrations breaking.

It needs Token authentication and most things seem locked down.

I would guess the first web-browser info above will have you on Firmware 7+

It is fixable - although needs a reasonable amount of work to add the token exchange. (token generation is with enphase online website). No ETA from me on this….

Yep.

Firmware 7 - which now needs a token authentication exchange with enphase servers to access the simple data that previously was open. I presume also that the info.xml page is also gone, hence seem to need to manual enter serialNo again.

Will have a look.
