Re: Phidgets Plugin Discussion

I've been using a Davis rain gauge with a phidgets 1018 for some time. THe rain gauge sat on a metal folding stool that I never cared about since it was always in the way. I just scored a partial Davis weather station off ebay for $20! . It has the mount and sensors for wind, rain, temp/humidity. And the connections are intact . I plan on adding couplers and running lines from the weather proof box to my computer in my basement.

I'm assuming I'll need a phidget frequency counter for the wind measurements. And I should be able to use the 1018 for the temp along with the rain gauge that I use it for already.

I am not sure if you were looking for a response. But, yes, your plan sounds solid and the Phidgets22 plugin supports the Freq Counter.
