BETA version of 1.6.2 is available for download

All,

The BETA release of 1.6.2. is available here: https://github.com/bla260/ad2usb/releases/tag/1.6.2

This release is not visible on the Plugin Store. It can only be downloaded via the link above. This is a significant release from a lines of code change but very little in terms of functional changes. The major change is that all the logging now uses Indigo's logging API. There are also some bug fixes for new keypad device setups and Zone Groups. Read the release notes here: https://github.com/bla260/ad2usb/blob/m ... e_Notes.md. After upgrading you should use the Configure menu to reset your logging settings.

For those brave enough feel free to upgrade. The DEBUG log level is very VERBOSE but should be fine for the plugin log on modern Macs with plenty of disk space.

Version 1.7.1 is released

Version 1.7.1 is available on the Plugin Store or from within the Indigo app. It is essentially the same as the 1.6.2 BETA. The new version number of 1.7.1 more accurately reflects this as a MINOR change. Compared to 1.6.1 this is a significant release from a lines of code change but very little in terms of functional changes. The major change is that all the logging now uses Indigo's logging API and there is a new option to create a separate panel message log. There are also some bug fixes for new keypad device setups and Zone Groups. Read the release notes on GitHub (link is below). After upgrading you should use the Configure menu to reset your logging settings. Note that DEBUG is very verbose and will likely result in large log files but is useful for troubleshooting issues.

Release Notes: https://github.com/bla260/ad2usb/blob/m ... e_Notes.md

Version 1.8 is already started and will strive to be compatible with Indigo 2022.1 and Python 3.

Emulation of zone/relay expanders question

If anyone uses Emulation of zone expanders and/or Emulation of relay expanders please private message me. I am wrapping up the next release but I do not use these features and had a question for those that do. Thanks.
