Oops... :)

It's in private beta and we hope to have it out by the end of the month.

That *shouldn't* be a problem--the plugin should be happy saving the images to any location that Indigo has access to. If you change this location, which you're perfectly free to do, you'll need to update your control pages to point to the new location. For that reason, I recommend saving to a location that's not tied to the individual version of Indigo--I have that location included solely so that the plugin has some spot to put the files. I think newer versions of Indigo will copy the files over--then you'll only need to update the plugin save location. You might try that now to see if that helps--you can always set it back if that doesn't work.

That said, I personally prefer to save it to the Indigo-specific location myself because the images then show up in the control page editor dropdown list.

Making progress but struggling to understand what each of the configuration setting do - can you tell me how you have yours set and I'll try to match, maybe snapshot the config box?

Re: Problem with chart colors

Glad to hear that you're making progress! Here's a shot of my configuration for my every day Indigo Server:

You'll notice that I'm heavy on whites, grays and blacks. I prefer a "dark mode" for my control pages.

Also, have a look at the plugin wiki which may help with understanding the plugin. There isn't any detail on the individual settings--that's on the TO DO list.

Wiki Home

A few pointers:
Annotation color: the color of the text within the chart that shows the value of the data points
Canvas color: the background color of the chart
Transparent canvas: ticking this box will let the background color of your control page show through.
Font color: the color of text (except the annotations.)
Grid color: the color of the grid lines within the plot area.
Plot area color: the color of the background within the plot area itself.
Spine color: the color of the four lines that bound the plot area.
Tick color: the color of the tick marks along the axes.

Note that when you change a color of one of these elements, you have to wait for the charts to be regenerated. This will happen at the next scheduled refresh interval. Alternatively, you can choose to regenerate them instantly by selecting the "Redraw Charts Now" menu item from the plugin menu.

Lastly, I've found that Safari doesn't always recognize that the image files have been updated--especially if you make several refreshes in quick succession. It's best to look at the image files in Finder to see if the changes have been applied.

Got it now, thanks - BTW, no way to have day / date on chart? Something like Thur, Mar 14 or just Mar 14

Under each chart device (where it's appropriate) there is a setting under the 'X Axis' controls that offers many options for the X axis date format:

Re: Problem with chart colors

I added more options recently which may not have been formally released yet. Hand tight a little while longer.

Re: Problem with chart colors

It's not tied to Indigo's release, but there have been a lot of changes added to the plugin and I've been doing a lot of testing (with help) and tweaking before releasing it broadly.

You can try the latest build on GitHub which isn't the formal release, but that's not guaranteed to be bug free.

Re: Problem with chart colors

One other question, the 10 day has a key (in the red box). I would like to have something like that on my attic chart to ID which line is humidity and which is temp but for the life of me I can not figure out how to add that. Is the key on the 10 day autogenerated by your SW and not available for the other charts? Thanks in advance for any help!

You are making terrific progress!

The legend controls are at the device level. Tick this Legend box:
