Manage Linked Devices menu option error

I'm in the process of getting the Lutron plugin setup and I'm running into an error from the Managed Linked Devices menu option.

Clicking the Controlling Keypad Room drop down within Managed Linked Devices shows the following message:
Code: Select all
Failed to Get UI List from Plugin:
InvalidParameterError: plugin does not define method roomListGenerator

This is what I'm seeing in the logs:
Code: Select all
Lutron RRA2/Caséta Debug        menuChanged, typeId = manageLinkedDevices, valuesDict = UiValuesDict : (dict)
     addLinkedDevice :  (string)
     buttonDevice :  (string)
     controlledDevice :  (string)
     deleteLinkedDevices :  (string)
     linkName :  (string)
     linkedDeviceList : (list)
     publishedLabel :  (string)
room : InvalidParameterError: plugin does not define method roomListGenerator (string)
     sep1 :  (string)
Lutron RRA2/Caséta Debug        controllableDevices, typeId = manageLinkedDevices, targetId = 0, valuesDict = UiValuesDict : (dict)
     addLinkedDevice :  (string)
     buttonDevice :  (string)
     controlledDevice :  (string)
     deleteLinkedDevices :  (string)
     linkName :  (string)
     linkedDeviceList : (list)
     publishedLabel :  (string)
room : InvalidParameterError: plugin does not define method roomListGenerator (string)
     sep1 :  (string)
Lutron RRA2/Caséta Debug        pickKeypadButton, typeId = manageLinkedDevices, targetId = 0, valuesDict = UiValuesDict : (dict)
     addLinkedDevice :  (string)
     buttonDevice :  (string)
     controlledDevice :  (string)
     deleteLinkedDevices :  (string)
     linkName :  (string)
     linkedDeviceList : (list)
     publishedLabel :  (string)
room : InvalidParameterError: plugin does not define method roomListGenerator (string)
     sep1 :  (string)

The plugin seems to be working fine otherwise. I was able to successfully create the Caseta L-BDGPRO2 gateway device and import my Lutron devices (Pico remotes, Plug-In Dimmer) to Indigo using the Create Devices from Caseta Smart Bridge Pro option. Lutron events such as keypad button presses and plug-in dimmer states are registering in Indigo.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

You found a bug. Fixed in 2022.0.7, should be available in plugin store.

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

Spoke too soon. Lutron Rooms are now populating under Managed Linked Devices, but the Controlling Keypad Button drop down is blank for each room.

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

Are the keypad buttons actually assigned to a room? That could be a problem for Caseta devices.

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

The keypads are assigned to rooms. I don’t see an option to assign individual buttons to specific rooms. Is there a difference between assigning keypads to a room and assigning buttons to a room?

I’m new to Lutron, so please bear with me.

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

I meant the Indigo devices representing the buttons, not the actual devices (in the Lutron app).

Yes. Indigo devices are assigned to rooms.

Re: Manage Linked Devices menu option error

Hmm. OK. That feature was originally designed for RRa2 keypads, not Picos, so there might be some other bug. Can you open an issue on the GitHub repository and put those screenshots and a debug-level log in it? Turn on debug logging, attempt to create a linked device entry, then turn off logging and put the log text in the issue.
