Unable to create devices from RRA2 Repeater

I'm not able to reload the updated Lutron dBase into Indigo.
In the devices list, the Lutron IP Gateway shows as connected.
I've tried multiple times, and occasionally, receive the following message:

2022-05-29 15:00:01.080 Lutron RRA2/Caséta Error Lutron IP Gateway: EOFError: telnet connection closed

Mostly, there is no indication in the event log that anything is happening at all.
In Lutron, I have changes some of the room names. I have tried deleting the old, related names in Indigo devices, but that didn't help.
I've rebooted, reloaded Indigo, reloaded the lutron plug-in, and cleared the erros in the Lutron transfer process.
Another anomaly which may or may not be related: established Indigo triggers that are working do not display, in Triggers > Edit Event Settings... > Configure Button Presses - the Presses and Room fields are populated, but the Button: field is blank. Nevertheless, the triggers are working.
Note: using plugin v22.0.1 and Indigo v2022.1
Any suggestion?

Enable debug logging, restart the plugin, then try the import process again.

I tested the device importing on my system, and it's working fine. That said, it's possible that a firmware update on the repeater has broken something. What version of Essentials/Inclusive are you running? I'm currently running 12.7.0

Thanks for the report. I guess I need to see what the changes are in the last couple versions. I mostly treat the Lutron stuff as "If it's not broke, don't fix it".

something has gone horribly wrong. As I mentioned earlier, all the triggers for Lutron keypad buttons dropped the button reference.
Today, I've been focusing on one keypad to try to get a grip on what's happening: in Essentials, I was very careful to verify the keypad was programmed as I want it: buttons 1, 2 & 3 are path-of-light; 4, 5, & 6 are toggles.
I've done the following: Activating, Transfering in Essentials, and then in Indigo, creating devices and reloading in the plug-in - the following results in devices for this one keypad: buttons 1, 2, 3, & 6 look as I would expect them; 4 & 5 are not listed. (with the keypad Indigo address of 68394:31:n - I've used the search box, and the missing two buttons are not in devices).
These problems started yesterday when I tried to add 2 new keypads. In addition to my keypad buttons throughout the house being disabled (they were working without the buttons in the triggers - this suggests that Indigo dropped the screen references, but was able to function until I created the devices with the plug-in), there was a lot of other never-seen-before Indigo behavior that didn't involve Lutron equipment - e.g., outside christmas lights (f of var xmas=true) turning on and off repeatedly with an Indigo outlet; z-wave outlets not responding; other indigo loads turning on, and not responding to all off commands.
My overall purpose was to work toward no Insteon, devices. I was about to double down on Lutron controls, and now I'm not so sure.
Suggestions? - with Time Machine, I could restore the Indigo database, but that would restore triggers with no buttons in the display. I'm not sure that would be helpful as the problem existed before yesterday.
