Multi-press events/triggers changes.

In the next release of the Lutron plugin (7.3.X), I've added a new trigger type.

The original multi-press event is (now) called "Button Presses", where you can select from the options:

First Press
Second Press
Third Press

For this trigger type, each trigger works independently. So if you press the same keypad/pico button three times quickly (less than 1 second between presses), all three triggers will fire. If you press twice, the first two will fire.

The new event type is called "Button Multi-Presses", with a choice of:

Single Press
Double Press
Triple Press

These are NOT independent, and only one trigger will fire. The timeout between presses is also shorter (0.5 seconds). So if you press the same key twice, less than 0.5 seconds between, ONLY the Double Press trigger will fire. The Single Press will not. Similar for Triple Press.

I hope that's clear.

Oh, I could add a quad (or more) trigger, but that seems unwieldy.

Comments? Questions?

Re: Multi-press events/triggers changes.

Thanks! Can't wait to try "multi-presses". I used the "button presses" behavior to my advantage for one of my use cases, but the "multi-presses" behavior is more appropriate for the others.
