Plugin Configuration not displayed

I'm trying to install the this plugin, but I'm not getting an initial configuration window once it is loaded. The config plugin just give me this. No option to choose IP and enter address.

Re: Plugin Configuration not displayed

I think you need to create a Gateway device after you finish with this. That's where you enter an IP address.

Re: Plugin Configuration not displayed

Mike is correct. The plugin now supports multiple systems, and you define which system you're communicating with by creating a gateway device.

Re: Plugin Configuration not displayed

I also was stumped by this while following the Installation instructions here:
https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-radiora2

I've created the Device and specified the IP Address and accepted the default Telnet credentials in that Gateway creation setting.

I'm not sure how to trigger the automatic creation of the devices. Is that still automatic?

Can you confirm that the plugin is communicating with the repeater properly? What's the status of the gateway device? What kind of Lutron system are you using?

That page says:

Starting with version 7.2.0, this Plugin will automatically created Indigo devices to match your existing Lutron installation. See the Wiki for more details. This works for switches, dimmers, keypads, motion sensors, VCRX, and HVAC interfaces.

Did you read the Wiki? Specifically https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... -2-Systems

Re: Plugin Configuration not displayed

Thanks for the light speed reply, Joe. Your creative output and your care in the support of your work is inspiring. Thank you.

You know, I didn't get that far (to the Wiki) so that's my next stop.

I'm not certain HOW to tell if plugin is communicating with the repeater properly.

When I restart the server the log reflects:
Code: Select all
May 16, 2021 at 1:59:58 AM
   Reloading plugin "Lutron RRA2/Caséta 7.4.0"
   Stopping plugin "Lutron RRA2/Caséta 7.4.0" (pid 38639)
   Stopped plugin "Lutron RRA2/Caséta 7.4.0"
   Starting plugin "Lutron RRA2/Caséta 7.4.0" (pid 38821)
   Started plugin "Lutron RRA2/Caséta 7.4.0"

I'm running the Lutron Casetta Bridge Pro 2 and I entered the IP address I found in the iOS app. The once I toggled the Telnet button to enable the comminication, as required by the plugin, I couldn't see a place to set a username and password but when I created the device for the Network Connected Gateway, the port (23), Username (lutron) and password (integration) were all per-populated so I rolled with it.

I'm also running a Lutron Caseta Repeater but I don't see any IP address in the app or any DHCP IP on my network, so I expect it's using it's own protocol on Lutron's 431 MHz to 437 MHz network.

I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not sure WHERE to find the menu option the Wiki means in step one: "Select the "Create Devices from RRA2 Repeater" menu option."

The closest thing I see is the "NEW" button in the Indigo 7.4 devices view which let's be then choose Lutron RRA2/Caseta as the type from the pop up and then I get THIS list of models. If I choose the PICO remote (I have two added so far and working) it seems to NOT see the ADDRESS in the first window.

I imagine I'm missing something simple.

Re: Plugin Configuration not displayed

First, look in your Indigo devices list for the Gateway device you already created. What's the status column show? Like this:

Then go to the Plugins menu, find the Lutron plugin, and look at the menu entries there. You want the last one:
