Re: Camect Home - IP Camera NVR

Just an FYI to all - looks like Camect will be having a CAMECT masterclass on 5 Nov. via facebook zoom.

They also have a 15% off coupon right now (but they do that a lot).

I have this system and love it - everything is local and I record all of my cameras 24x7x365 on a local HD. It also does smart alerts. Works with about any camera out there.

PS. Flying Diver’s plug-in works great and made the Camect system even better for me :-)

FWIW, I use both SecuritySpy running on a Mac mini, and the Camect. SS is used for archival recording of all of my cameras. The Camect is only monitoring a select set of cameras, just for the alerts.

Re: Camect Home - IP Camera NVR

I added that state since the last pre-release. Just edit the device and save it. It'll go away.
