So "1" for forward and "-1" for reverse. No idea if those actually work, I just just the toggle.

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Hi Joe,

I have a motorised cellular blind that request a continuous press signal to either open or close, and as soon as I release the remote button the blind stops.

I have managed to add the remote (Simple Touch) to my Bond Bridge, and I can send a pulse signal to the blind, but it only moves ~1" and stops.

I have also successfully added the Bond Bridge to Indigo using your plugin, and I can control the blind from Indigo via Bond Bridge, but I have had to program a schedule with multiple signals (~20) to either fully open or close the blind, this results in an annoying jerky motion.

Is there a way I can send a continuous signal via the Bond Bridge for a preset period, so as the blind closes or opens smoothly?

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Have you tried using the repeat field in the device configuration? Just keep incrementing the number until it works.

No way to loop for a timed interval at this time.

Joe,

I have tried the repeat function, but I still get the stop / action.

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Yeah, I forgot that I put a 1 sec delay between each transmission, which I expect is causing the jerkiness.

I also found that if I repeat the function more than ones, the open function (off) will not work, but on the other if I repeat the function 20 times, the close (On) function fully close the blond with jerks.

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Am I correct in thinking that even using the Bond Home app you have the same issue? That turning the device on or off in the app only does a limited amount of movement. In that case, it might be better to reprogram the Bond to send multiple repetitions of the signal to better simulate holding the button down.

See this Bond forum thread: https://forum.bondhome.io/t/need-to-hol ... conds/1059

And this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWOH2Wq ... e=emb_logo

If you don't feel comfortable doing that yourself, I can probably add an action to the plugin to set the repeat value.

Joe,

It would probably be better if you could create a repeat action in the plug-in .

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Pre-release of major rewrite of plugin: https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-B ... /tag/0.1.0

Now updates status from the Bond Home units when devices change outside of Indigo. Also implements an action for setting the repeat count for signals sent from the Bond. Useful for devices in marginal range that need repeats to function, or for devices that require continuous signals (like some shades).

Your bridge device is probably OK as is. You will need to edit (open config dialog) all your other devices to pick up new attributes.

See the new test release. Note that you don't specify the repeat count in the action itself. You run a separate action to set the repeat count in the bridge unit. So set up an action group to set the count for each device and command. Keep increasing the number and re-execute the action until it runs however long you need. Then do the same thing for the other command(s). If necessary, you could pair a set-repeats action with an open/close action to customize it for different settings. For instance, an "open halfway" action that sets the repeat count to 1/2 of what's needed for a complete open, then resets it back afterwards.

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

With 0.1.0, received this for each device:

Code: Select all
Bond Home                       Lounge Fan: Starting bondRelay Device 1430429589
Bond Home Error                 Lounge Fan: deviceStartComm: Unknown device type: bondRelay

Was running 0.0.2 prior. I see that the bondRelay has become a bondDevice of type relay now, so I'll re-create all the devices at the next maintenance interval.

New official release 0.1.2: https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-B ... /tag/0.1.2

Major rewrite of the plugin. Now updates status from the Bond Home units when devices change outside of Indigo. Also implements an action for setting the repeat count for signals sent from the Bond. Useful for devices in marginal range that need repeats to function, or for devices that require continuous signals (like some shades).

The 0.1.X releases require editing all bond devices to set the appropriate device type. There's only two device types now - the bridge or a client device.
