Seems normal per: https://www.kane.co.uk/knowledge-centre ... 2-in-rooms

Now if that was CO, it would be really bad.

Try https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-M ... /tag/0.1.6

And thank you for filing a GitHub issue to document this.

Re: Masquerade Plugin

Would you consider adding a way to masquerade a true/false device from and AD2USB/AD2PI plugin (basically alarm zone status) to an Indigo Door device?

I'd like to eventually have the faulted alarm zones reflect as open or closed doors.

Thanks
Ross

Indigo doesn't have a door type. Closest is a lock device.

Re: Masquerade Plugin

Just a cosmetic request

Could you please add "energy" (watt) type of the sensor?

Can you put that in GitHub so I don't forget?

Re: Masquerade Plugin

Any thoughts on adding ability to masquerade a relay as a sprinkler zone?

It this were possible it would enable, for example, a, z-wave relay controlling a pump to be grouped as with its associated valves.

Re: Masquerade Plugin

amazing, thank you!

I can successfully masquerade any relay as a sprinkler, and I can see the states on the both devices updating correctly regardless of which I use to switch.

They are also working when rolled up into a Sprinkler Group virtual device.

One small anomaly is that - while device states on the parent relay and the virtual sprinkler update correctly when controlling via the Sprinkler Group, this doesn't happen in the other direction (ie, the Sprinkler Group shows 'all zones off' even if one of its constituent sprinklers is switched independently). I don't have the native sprinkler zones to test if this is an indigo 'feature', but I assume not(?).

I have no idea. I've never used a Sprinkler Group. Maybe Matt or Jay can come in.

for clarity, this is the case regardless of whether I switch the sprinkler zone; or the 'parent' relay....the Sprinkler Group state doesn't change. Turning the Sprinkler Group on and Off will realign all the states correctly.

Re: Masquerade Plugin

The Sprinkler Group indeed assumes that all control will be done via Sprinkler Group device and not on the individual component devices. That is, it is not bidirectional in its state updates. In Indigo Sprinkler devices (currently) always have mutually exclusive zones, so the sprinkler device wouldn't know what to show or how to handle multiple sub-devices being ON at the same time.

Re: Masquerade Plugin

thanks for the clarification.

Regarding the UI challenge I guess the Sprinkler Group UI could be tweaked to show a string of open zone numbers, rather than zone name, or even just 'on' in the case of multiple zones open.
But I can use a Device Group to represent collective status of the relays anyhow.

[I have occasions (very hot/fire danger days) for which I need to retain direct control of zones, including the ability to have some operate simultaneously].
