Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Just upgraded to Ventura, and I'm seeing (I think for the first time) this in the indigo log:
Code: Select all
Bond Home Error                 Error in plugin execution _postStartup:

File "plugin.py", line 176, in _postStartup
File "plugin.py", line 204, in doDeviceStartup
type: ('LT',)

However, as best I can tell, the plugin is working correctly.

If it's not the Bond Bridge, I don't have the slightest idea. How would I tell?

Oh, nevermind, they added some device types to the API. I'll need to update the plugin.

Try this version and see if the error goes away:

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Joe,

I'm having an issue adding my Molino Fan which has built-in Bond support. When I create a new action group to control the fan, I get this error:

Code: Select all
May 16, 2023 at 9:08:40 PM
   Action Group                    new action group
Bond Home Error                 Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

File "plugin.py", line 443, in doDeviceAction
type: ('KIMJAFB17184',)

"KIMJAFB17184" is actually the DNS name of the device.

What logging can I provide to help you troubleshoot this?

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

It might be the dns name but it’s probably also the device ID reported in the json payload.

As usual, enable debug logging, restart the plugin, then trigger the error.

In this case please create a GitHub issue as I’m out of the country and won’t be able to look at this for a couple weeks. I probably won’t have forums access after tomorrow.

Re: New Plugin - Bond Home

Thanks Joe. I just created an issue on GitHub with log information. It appears that get_bridge_info() is erroring for that device.
