Unauthorized warning

After using this plugin for many months, out of the blue I am consistently getting this error message:

MyQ Warning Error logging into MyQ server: Error requesting data from https://partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/connect/token: 401 - Unauthorized

Has something change with the API? My credentials still work. The MYQ app on my phone still works. The Indigo plugin doesn't seem to work any more and always returns this same warning.

Re: Unauthorized warning

Yes, MyQ has broken the API again. If/when the library developers figure out a fix, I'll post an update. Until then, it's broke.

My new house will have Alladin Genie openers. I'm tired of this crap.

MyQ API problem

Hi Joe,

I was about to update to Indigo 2023.1.0, but there is a caveat about Python 2 scripts no longer being supported. For whatever reason, my MyQ is still working, but despite the API problem, I didn't wish to upgrade Indigo until I asked if you had used Python and which version for the MyQ Plugin.

Thanks!

All plugin versions since 2022.0.0 have been Python3.

Re: Unauthorized warning

If you're brave, you can use an unreleased patch to the MyQ library to address this issue. In Terminal on the Indigo server system, do:

Code: Select all
pip3 uninstall pymyq
pip3 install git+https://github.com/arraylabs/pymyq.git@refs/pull/188/head

It seems to work on my system.

Re: Unauthorized warning

You will also need to update to plugin version 2022.0.4.
