Did you follow the instructions on the GitHub page for versions 7.6.0 and later?

Re: 12/16/2020 - MyQ Broken again?

I just yesterday discovered that the plugin library didn't have the latest plugin. I rode 7.5.3 until it stopped running around 8/26/21. I just downloaded 7.7.1 and updated the plugin, didn't see any update instructions, but then again I didn't look closely. This is getting above my meager computer skills. I suspect I don't have Python 3.8 going. Verification gives me.

Python 3.8.2% /usr/bin/python3 --version
Python: can't open file '3.8.2%': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

I've downloaded, python-3.8.10-macosx10.9.pkg. Before I screw the pooch, would this bring python to where it needs to be? Or would I still need to run the python packages? If so where would I find those packages? All I can find is the complete installer. I've also downloaded Python 3.9.7 would that be better than 3.8.10 or do I need to stay in the 3.8 range.

Like I said, I'm not a big terminal user. I can and have but every time I generally have my sphincter pore puckered. Any guidance you can give me might relieve the strain. :-)

Do NOT install that package. You need to use the Python included in MacOS, and updated by Xcode. See viewtopic.php?f=214&t=24955

If you're unable to follow those instructions, you'll just have to delete the MyQ plugin totally. There's no way to get the non-Python3 version working anymore.

Ahh, so if you're not running 10.15.7 you can't get MyQ running? I'm on 10.14.6.

I have Python 3.8.9 installed. I also added the three packages suggested. Where do I get the latest plugin version. I have 7.7.1 but it is not working and is flooding my log with error messages.
