No idea. I don't get that one even if I use a bad username or opener brand.

Did this work before? Do you have the latest plugin?

was working fine. I think that I have the latest. It says I have version 7.1.8.

Just noticed it one day in the logs.

Tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. didn't help.

What's your poll interval? Maybe it was polling too much and your account got blacklisted. Does the MyQ website and/or App still work?

Well, you could disable the plugin, then delete the preferences file, then re-enable it. You'll need to do the config again. I kinda doubt it'll help. It really looks like your login has been blacklisted somehow.

I'll check and see if there's any update to the library I use to talk to the MyQ servers. I didn't write the underlying comm code.

the debugging info (first post) shows that the login was successful. So not sure what is going on.

I don't get it either. It's returning a success code on the login, then unauthorized on the devices. Makes no sense to me.

Re: getting error: getDevices: Bad return code: Unauthorized

I also starting getting the exact same error with version 7.1.8:

MyQ Error getDevices: Bad return code: Unauthorized (216)

My opener is working normally through the MyQ iOS app.

I'm happy to try beta's, send back lots, etc. if its helpful...

Anyone having this issue, please report here what brand you have selected in the config panel.

And let me know what happens if you pick a different brand.

I have a Liftmaster system with two openers, and am unable to replicate this error. There was a problem with the MyQ servers a couple days ago, but that seems to have been corrected.

Re: getting error: getDevices: Bad return code: Unauthorized

I have a Liftmaster system. When I change configuration to Craftsman, I get a login failure:

MyQ Error myqLogin failure, Bad return code: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Try again. (203)

When I change to Chamberlain, I get the same 216 failure.

Thanks for your attention!

Any change if you try Liftmaster or Craftsman?

Same exact problem here. I have Liftmaster selected as the brand; haven't changed any settings in months, and everything was working fine until sometime recently.
