Issues implementing XMPP Support Firmware Update - FIXED

Is anyone else getting this issue?

i.e. the Harmony is connected to Mac using USB cable

The Harmony Software reads the Hub config

But no INSTALL button to push...?

Have tried multiple usb cables and multiple ports on the iMac.

All get the same result

Any suggestions??

OK fixed it - For the Install button to appear the Harmony Hub must NOT be connected to Mac. Only connect when instructed to do so - my bad - failed the RTFM..... :-(

Thanks

Re: Issues implementing XMPP Support Firmware Update

How long did you wait after connecting the hub? It takes a couple minutes for the hub to reboot itself into USB mode.

I did three hubs with no issues.,

Re: Issues implementing XMPP Support Firmware Update - FIXED

I just had the same problem when I tried to install the software via my MacBook Pro and also via my Indigo iMac.

Using System Report revealed that the system didn't know about the Harmony Hub as it wasn't listed under USB hardware.

Turns out it was a dodgy USB cable that was providing power OK but apparently not the comms.

Mention it in case anyone else experiences the same. :)
