Using Better Email devices in Python

I've defined a Better Email SMTP device. It's obvious how to use it to send mail from within the Indigo UI, but how do I send email via a Python command? Is there a command similar to the Indigo server command: indigo.server.sendEmailTo( 'address text', subject='subject text', body='body text' )? I couldn't find this anywhere in the Forum discussions.

Thanks Joe. I added the recipient as a function argument to make it a bit more general.

That's probably a good idea. That was just a quick example from one of my existing scripts.
