Does actually :) there's a add a motor subforum for c4w which shows that's empty!

Well it's never shown me my new subforums (any of the three) when they've been created :(

As it happens, Matt emailed me outside of the forum, thanking me for the plugin, telling me he'd created the subforum, and letting me know a free Yale lock was in the post by way of thanks.

Re: ZWave Lock Manager

Hello,

I installed your plugin, v1.0.18. I'm able to set PINs for various users but when I try to get the user PIN, I get errors. See below. Any ideas? It's a Kwikset 910.

BTW, great plugin - glad I don't have to manually enter PIN codes from the lock. Thanks for your work on this.

Re: ZWave Lock Manager

I'm seeing the same things you are. The Kwikset doesn't seem to send exactly the same return strings as the Yale documentation called out. It works for 4 and 8 digit PINs, but 6 digit is causing some problems. I'm looking at it now, since I have the same Kwikset 910 that you have.

Re: ZWave Lock Manager

OK, I've got a version of the plugin that handles any PIN length between 4 and 8, at least for Kwikset locks (tested on the 910). I'll send it to howartp and he can do what he wants with it tomorrow. It's the middle of the night for him right now.

Yeah, the Yale lock can take any length between 4-8 characters, but the plugin hasn't been coded for anything but 4 & 8 so far.

(And now I see my comment is redundant - Thanks @FlyingDiver...) :D

It has now. ;)

I sent a link to the modified code to howartp. Hopefully he's release it tomorrow. I don't want to step in any toes and do it for him.

Re: ZWave Lock Manager

Actually the plugin is already coded for 4, 6 and 8.

I'll have a look later.

It has always been coded for 4, 6 and 8, but there was a bug in one line of code which is fixed in v1.0.19

Re: ZWave Lock Manager

Sorry, just spotted a bug in installing 1.0.19 - give me a couple of minutes.

That's why I deliberately included a bug in .19 so I could quickly release .20.... :)

v.1.0.20 is live now.
