"Send port for process has no send right"

I'm using Yosemite 10.10.1, Indigo 6.0.18, Airfoil Plugin 1.1.7 with Airfoil 4.8.11. The plugin appears to be working as advertised, but whenever the plugin is enabled, it spams my system.log with thousands and thousands of these:

Code: Select all
11:18:39 AM IndigoPluginHost: AppleEvents: Send port for process has no send right, port=( port:34271/0x85df rev:1,send:0,d:0 limit:5) (findOrCreate()/AEMachUtils.cp #526) com.apple.root.default-qos.overcommit

I'm probably switching to a Sonos setup for audio distribution soon anyway, but in the meantime, any idea what I could poke to make this better behaved?

Looks like another Yosemite gremlin. I'm not sure what is causing it, but there are reports of that being logged in lots of apps under Yosemite (including Automator).

Any news on this? It's killing me!

IndigoPluginHost[6861]: AppleEvents: Send port for process has no send right, port=( port:30575/0x776f rcv:1,send:0,d:0 limit:5) (findOrCreate()/AEMachUtils.cp #526) com.apple.root.default-qos.overcommit

Yep. Same issue here.

MacMini on OS-X 10.10.4, Running Indigo 6.1.2
Airfoil plug-in 1.1.9
Airfoil 4.8.14

When I stop the Airfoil plug-in, the error messages stop... Anyone any clue?

Thanks,
Ronald
