Can you disable the plugin - leave it disabled for 10 minutes and then enable it again.

Then can you post log entries of the startup from the Indigo log window (not iTouch which is difficult to read) and in also post it in a Code block.

I would like to see what is happening in a more easy to read form.

Nothing changes in the log.
I’ve done as I read in another thread, I deleted all devices from the desktop Alexa website. Re-started my early gen Alexa , and tried to discover from that one, with no success

I am afraid I am at a bit of a loss at the moment.

As I said in another thread, my system is working OK - if it wasn't then it would make it easier to try and find a solution.

I am going to try and dig deeper on this tomorrow but unfortunately I haven't got much to go in.

I have released a new version incorporating recent pre-release fixes.

Despite extensive testing, I haven't been able to find any solution to or reason for the problems that are being discussed in this thread.

I have released the update to get the latest (minor) changes as the official release.

I have updated the plugin. I just don’t get it, I deleted all devices, and tried to start fresh.
Sorry for the large pics, but wanted you to see my settings. I am going back to the wiki to verify as well

I am even more confused now.

Your setup (from the images) looks fine.

The log shows a successful discovery when you have asked Alexa to do a discovery.
The request has come from the echo at IP address 192.168.0.2.
It has discovered and published Den Lights to Alexa, so that should be appearing in your list of devices on the Amazon Alexa website.

So given that discovery seems to be working (which arguably is the more complicated interaction with Alexa), I can't fathom out why the simple turn on/off request isn't.

In answer to your other question regarding distance from your Mac; it shouldn't make any difference - the main thing is to have a decent wi-fi signal.

So when I ask Alexa to turn on the den lights, instead of saying the device is not responding, it says “den doesn’t support that”
